With more than 20 years experience in Oil, Gas and Energy industry, he brings great experience to the Company and strong Indonesian leadership that will help the Group deliver it’s long term financial promise to it’s shareholders, lenders, business partners and employees.
Nainesh Jaisingh is the Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Standard Chartered Private Equity, and has been with Standard Chartered’s Principal Investments business for over 15 years.
With SCPE, Nainesh has made and managed successful investments in a variety of sectors, partnering with entrepreneurs and management teams to build leading businesses. He serves on the Board of Directors of several companies, including Redington India Limited, Crystal Jade Holdings Pte Ltd., Café Coffee Day, Wellard Group Holdings Pty Ltd., Interglobe Technologies and the Prime Focus Group.
In 2003, Nainesh was instrumental in the launch of the Merlion India Fund, a Joint Venture between SCPE and Temasek, the Sovereign Wealth Fund of Singapore. In 2001, he co-founded Fin Ventures, a proprietary global Venture Capital Fund sponsored by Standard Chartered bank, headquartered at Singapore.
Nainesh’s early career was in Investment Banking and Commercial Banking with ANZ Investment Bank and ANZ Grindlays.
Guy Markham is the General Counsel of MAXpower Group. Based in Jakarta, Guy is responsible for legal, compliance, corporate governance and corporate secretarial matters of the group. Prior to joining MAXpower, Guy was General Counsel of Ramba Energy Ltd, a Singapore listed company, and of Pearl Energy Limited, after serving as Region Corporate Counsel of Weatherford International Inc and Region Contracts Specialist for Baker Hughes Inc. Guy gained more than 12 years of experience in the oil, gas and energy industry in addition to general legal and commercial expertise prior to joining Baker Hughes.
