Knowledge Sharing : Basic Knowledge of Jenbacher Gas Engine Operation
Thursday, 2 December 2021/ Knowledge Sharing this time with the theme “Basic Knowledge of Jenbacher Gas Engine Operation” with speaker Suprih Kundartono, Head of Technical Development Maxpower Group. This session was held online on Thursday, 2 December 2021 at 13.00 WIB assisted by host & moderator, Anggi Retno Sarilita Yuantari as Recruitment & Training Specialist of Maxpower Group.
This session aims to give employees with basic knowledge about Jenbacher Gas Engine which is the source of gas-based electrical energy use by Maxpower. Previously, special Knowledge Sharing about Jenbacher Engine had been held for operators located in Singapore & Myanmar, especially about maintenance & trouble shooting. This session was explained by Navigat Energy Indonesia (NEI) team which is part of Maxpower Group with advanced experience in this type of engine.
The Jenbacher Gas Engine is an engine with a 4 (four) stroke operating method with ignition or internal combustion triggered by a spark plug, with natural gas as fuel, biogas, flare gas, landfill gas and special gas.
Suprih further explained that Jenbacher Gas Engine uses the Leanox method which is a further development of the lean mix engine principle. Lean mix engines are supplied using a gas mixture with excess air to minimize emissions during the combustion stage. So that makes Maxpower produce clean energy by increasing efficiency.

Kamis, 2 Desember 2021/ Knowledge Sharing kali ini dengan tema “Basic Knowledge of Jenbacher Gas Engine Operation” dengan pembicara Suprih Kundartono, Head of Technical Development Maxpower Group. Sesi ini diselenggarakan secara daring pada hari Kamis, Kamis, 2 Desember 2021 pada pukul 13.00 WIB dibantu oleh moderator sekaligus MC yaitu Anggi Retno Sarilita Yuantari selaku Recruitment & Training Specialist Maxpower Group.
Sesi ini bertujuan agar karyawan mendapat pengetahuan mendasar tentang Jenbacher Gas Engine yang merupakan sumber pembangkit energi listrik berbahan gas yang digunakan oleh Maxpower. Sebelumnya Knowledge Sharing khusus mengenai Jenbacher Engine sudah diselenggarakan untuk operator yang berlokasi di Singapura & Myanmar, khususnya mengenai maintenance & trouble shooting. Sesi khusus ini djelaskan oleh tim dari Navigat Energy Indonesia (NEI) yang merupakan bagian dari Maxpower Group dengan pengalaman advance-nya mengenai jenis mesin ini.
Jenbacher Gas Engine adalah engine dengan metode operasi 4 (empat) langkah dengan pengapian atau pembakaran dalam yang dipicu oleh spark plug (busi), dengan bahan bakar gas baik Natural gas, biogas, flare gas, landfill gas dan special gas.
Lebih lanjut Suprih menjelaskan bahwa Jenbacher Gas Engine menggunakan metode Leanox yang merupakan pengembangan lebih lanjut dari prinsip mesin lean mix (campuran ramping). Mesin lean mix dipasok menggunakan campuran gas dengan kelebihan udara untuk meminimalkan emisi selama tahap pembakaran. Sehingga menjadikan Maxpower menghasilkan clean energi dengan meningkatkan efisiensi.
