Maxpower Indonesia Public Speaking Training: Enhancing Professional Communication Skills

Jakarta, February 18, 2025 – Maxpower Indonesia has successfully conducted a public speaking training aimed at enhancing the professional communication skills of participants. The event took place on Monday, February 17, 2025, featuring an intensive training session covering various effective speaking techniques and engaging presentation strategies. The training materials were provided by Bicara Itu Mudah, a team renowned for its innovative approach to public speaking skill development.
This training program was designed to equip participants with greater confidence and persuasive speaking skills, emphasizing the application of WOW Speaking Techniques, which include:
• Open Palm Technique – Creating an open and convincing communication style through hand gestures.
• Chopping Technique – Emphasizing key points in presentations with strong hand movements.
• Pointing Technique – Capturing audience attention through effective pointing gestures.
• Authority Technique – Demonstrating confidence through posture and strong vocal intonation.
• Gift Technique – Providing added value to engage the audience more effectively.
• Numeric Technique – Using numbers and data to structure presentations clearly.
• Scanning Technique – Analyzing the audience to adjust communication styles accordingly.
Additionally, the training addressed common public speaking challenges such as nervousness, uncontrolled speaking pace, and difficulties in crafting engaging narratives. Participants were equipped with practical strategies to overcome these obstacles, including effective storytelling techniques, breath control, and strategic pauses to enhance communication effectiveness.

The training session also introduced a systematic presentation structure, which includes:
1. Opening (10-15%) – Initiating the presentation with greetings, introductions, an opening story, as well as an overview of the agenda and audience benefits.
2. Body (75-85%) – Delivering the core content using a fact-based approach, solutions, and comprehensive strategies.
3. Closing (5-10%) – Concluding with a strong summary and motivational closing statement.
This training also provided insights into different audience personality types, including Sanguine, Choleric, Melancholic, and Phlegmatic, allowing participants to tailor their communication style for maximum effectiveness.
Through this training initiative, Maxpower Indonesia hopes participants will gain greater confidence in public speaking, craft inspiring presentations, and develop more persuasive and impactful communication skills within their professional environments.
