GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY GAS FIRED POWER PLANT 25MW AT KABIL INTEGRATED INDUSTRIAL ESTATE FOR KEK NONGSA
BATAM – 11th July 2022/ Monday, 11th July 2022, the Ground Breaking Ceremony for the Development of 25 MW Gas-Fired Power Plant was held in Kabil Integrated Industrial Estate (KIIE) Batam, Indonesia. This project is a form of dedication for the collaboration between Maxpower Indonesia with PLN Batam for the development of Nongsa Digital Park area, to support the need for reliable electricity supply in KEK Nongsa needed by the data center.
Nongsa Digital Park area will be an economic driver in the city of Batam with its strategic location, thus it can provide good opportunities to bring in investors or entrepreneurs from several countries, both from the technology, tourism, hospitality and etc.. Furthermore, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Maxpower Group, Fazil E. Alftri said “We together with PLN Batam support the government and other parties to grow together to build an economy that is gradually recovering after the pandemic.”
The outlook through this project is for future collaboration needed between PLN Batam and private sector (Maxpower), it’s aimed to make Batam to be able to compete and become the center of digital economic growth with the support of reliable and stable electricity supply in accordance with data center industry standards.

Proyek ini merupakan bentuk dedikasi dari peran kolaborasi Maxpower Indonesia dengan PLN Batam untuk pengembangan wilayah Nongsa Digital Park , untuk menunjang kebutuhan supply Listrik handal di KEK Nongsa yang dibutuhkan oleh data center.
Wilayah Nongsa Digital Park akan menjadi penggerak ekonomi di kota Batam dengan lokasinya yang strategis, sehingga dapat memberikan peluang baik untuk mendatangkan investor ataupun pelaku usaha dari beberapa negara, baik dari sector teknologi, pariwisata, hospitality dan lain sebagainya. Selanjutnya Chief Executive Officer (CEO) dari Maxpower Group, Fazil E. Alftri mengatakan “Kami bersama PLN Batam mendukung pemerintah dan para pihak lainnya untuk tumbuh bersama membangun ekonomi yang sedang berangsur-angsur pulih pasca pandemi.”
Harapannya melalui proyek ini adalah dengan adanya kolaborasi yang dibutuhkan antara PLN Batam dan pihak swasta (Maxpower) agar Batam mampu bersaing dan menjadi pusat pertumbuhan perekonomian digital dengan dukungan supply listrik reliable dan stabil sesuai dengan standar industri data center.
